Reducing housing insecurity
We believe that there are critical moments that can alter the trajectory of a child’s life, including the ability to escape poverty.
We are committed to funding innovative and highly effective programs that reduce housing insecurities, and the accompanying traumas, for families and transitional age youth.
Yardi is currently focusing these efforts on organizations in the following cities:

Our focus
Families
Far too many families are experiencing housing insecurities. We work with organizations aimed at reducing homelessness for families today and those seeking to prevent future housing challenges.
Transitional Age Youth
Young adults aging out of the foster care system are faced with numerous hurdles, including finding housing. We work with organizations supporting these transitional age youth.
Current efforts
Yardi supports the following organizations, among others, that work to reduce housing insecurities for families and transitional age youth.
Transition House
Transition House is dedicated to the solution of family homelessness in the Santa Barbara community, providing transitional housing for families in need.
The Drake House
Located in northern Atlanta, The Drake House empowers female-led households experiencing homelessness to achieve economic independence and long-term stability through their onsite housing supports as well as educational/job training programs.
LifeWorks
LifeWorks serves youth and young families in Austin, TX, many of whom have experienced homelessness, by providing comprehensive wrap-around services through our Housing, Counseling, Education, and Workforce programs.
The Hope Center at Pullen
The Hope Center at Pullen is a nonprofit in Raleigh, North Carolina dedicated to empowering foster teens and young adults transitioning out of foster care with transformative programs and support, including housing assistance and life coaching.
CASA of Travis County
CASA of Travis County promotes and protects the best interest of children who have experienced abuse or neglect by empowering volunteers to advocate for their safety, well-being, and for opportunities to thrive.
Good Samaritan
With over 30 years of experience serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Santa Barbara County, Good Samaritan understands the challenges they face and provides essential shelter, support, and pathways to stability.
